Ive been a gamer since i was a kid. And believe me when i say that up to now, no other game has got me addicted as much these mafia games have. The power of browser based mafia games is the fact that it mimics the pleasure of reading a very well written book. Think of a book that got you reading till the wee hours of the morning. Now imagine yourself as the main character in that story. If i was to describe what these games does to a person in one word, it would be "detachment". And with real money thrown into the mix, browser based mafia games becomes not just a "good read", it also becomes an obsession and a source of income for some.
